We Crashed the Forum!!

Well, we finally did it! We crashed the system, with the equivalent of a Denial of Service Attack. At 1526 GMT 12 January 2009 I received this error message:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

User cohenforum already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Yay!!

If this was the first time this happened to this forum - I think it is very well designed. Other systems may crash for less.

I will return back to Europe on the 18 feb lunchtime , it should be hard crossing the Atlantic again the same day.

Rauli has moved the Forum to a faster server now. Also the max number of simultaneous visitors has been increased.
