Happy Holidays from Eija & Jarkko to all Members and Visitors!
2008 has been an extremely exciting year with all the activities around Leonard and the tour. Now it looks like the next year will be as good if not even better!
It has been a pleasure to meet so many friends in several countries during the summer and fall legs of the tour. We hope to see you again on Hydra next summer, or at a concert, somewhere!

The photo shows an ice work Eija made last Winter (this fall has been too warm here in Southern Finland for any snow/ice sculptures!).

I'm off on my travels over Christmas so this is an early Happy Christmas to everyone and thanks to Leonard for making 2008 a most memorable year!
Hope I manage to get to see him again in 2009 as well as meeting up with others on Hydra.

I shall leave the country with the sound of Hallelujah ringing out across the land!

In a world of shadows
You are someone who is real
The shocking beauty of your work
The lines that I could feel.
Electrified by your first songs
I listen more and more
Am always learning something new

and to all the others on the forum ;-)

Here you can see a picture of the official ticket from the concert in 1993 in my home town The Hague (=Den Haag) in Holland,
notice the price back then was 30 Euro (= 67,50 Dutch guilders) for Stalls, I was in Row 5.

Hi everyone and a very Happy Christmas or Hanukkah to you all! It has been such a pleasure spending hours on the Forum reading all the comments and being a small part of this wonderful group..and it was the most extreme pleasure to see Leonard in Copenhagen this fall :D . You are eclectic, awesome, and no matter if I may agree or not, this Forum seems to be a veritable melting pot of opinions! The primary thing is that we all agree that Leonard is the best! I am off to the mountains of Colorado to celebrate Christmas quietly with 5000 elk, but you will all be in my thoughts! May 2009 bring you many blessings...plus Leonard in San Francisco, NY, Victoria, Vancouver, LA, and Ann Arbor at the very least. er, the last was my dream. We can only hope!

Take care, and much love to you and your families.

Diana

ps...Jarkko..Eija's ice sculpture is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. How sad that as with so many things in nature it does not last. But the image will always be there!

I ws a little nervous before playing that - but it's charming! Would be keen to know where/when, and who the female voice and fiddle belong to as well....

Happy Christmas and a great New Year to everyone here - but especially, perhaps, to Jarkko. I'm not a "groupie type," but having the opportunity to see and hear Leonard on the four occasions I have this year has been a privilege and a dream come true.

Hi Jeremy.
It is a unique performance (duet with Jennifer Warnes) performed in Brighton, England on 15 December 1979,with Raffi Hakopian on Violin.

Hi Dave- knowledgeable as ever, I see - many thanks!

I did think it might be Jennifer W, but if I'd said so, it would have turned out to be Perla, Julie, Anjani, Sharon......

Have a great one.
