Dear Henning,

I would love to meet you after the show; problem is that I am travelling with two friends and my parents - two of them are teachers who will have to get up early the next day, and one is going to have an important exam on Monday morning, so I suppose I might perhaps not be able to convince them to come along. However, if there is any nice place near the venue and if we may just pop in for a short drink, I will see what I can do! It would be such a nice conclusion to the evening, anyway... Any idea anyone where we could go at all?

It would be really lovely to have a drink before or after the show. It doesn't really matter much when. I'm not sure whether I'll have much time before or after the concert myself. But I'd do my best to make it. Anyway, I don't really understand now whether it's gonna happen at all. So is there a meeting? And then where and when? That Irish pub that someone mentioned? :)
Hopefully we're gonna figure out something. :)

I would almost say that AFTER the show makes much more sense now; Juste, even in case we can only make it a quick drink, it would still be very much worth the effort, I suppose! Anyway, I have spoken to the teachers and they agree to come along, so we will just have to drag the poor examinee with us! ;-)
And the Irish pub, well, why not? What does everyone think?

I think drinks after the show in the Irish pub sounds nice. Even if it's a quick drink as you say. So, hopefully there more people who'd like to join. :)

http://www.louisiana.de ...... open until 1.00 a.m

http://www.brauhaus-zeche-jacobi.de/ ...... open until 0.30 a.m.

http://www.irishpubcentro.com/ob/oberhausen.html ........ open until 12.00

so maybe the irishpub might not be the best choice as they are already closing by the time we will arrive. Since woman-from-a-room is the most active poster on this thread she should make a decision since someone has to decide otherwise it won't work.

I think the place doesn't matter much as long as it is close to the arena. So which one then?

All are located outside this huge shopping mall and a short walk from the Arena.

Sorry for the relatively late reply, I have been away for the day...
I have just phoned the "Louisiana", they said no problem, they appear to have plenty of space, are open late (for those of you who have got plenty of time), and they have a good choice of drinks as well... Should we go for that, then? Or if you prefer the brewery, all right, but perhaps the "Louisiana" suits a wider range of tastes!
So what do you think?
Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow (hopefully!) :D !
