Bucharest September 21

Wow! First time I start a whole new section.
I may be blabbering tonight, though. I am as nervous as I haven't been in a long time.
Ten years ago I came here into the Cohen world, through the Files and the newsgroup. Oh, I was so shy at that time! First, I thought no one here would like to talk with me. Later I thought that I had no chance ever to meet for real all these wonderful people here who welcomed and accepted me. And, during all thist time, I was sure: Cohen was someone to dream about or the voice who calmed my fears, but never a real person that I ever had a chance to see. I knew it well; I was too late and too far to ever see him. He had given up touring before I ever heard him. He had never been here! And why would he? No one really cares much about where or what Romania is.
And now... tomorrow I'm going to see him, here. I must admit, I find it impossible to think about what will be the day after tomorrow!

Tonight I celebrated with the almost only girl-friend I still have here, whose birthday is... on September 21. A little bit later, I found out that one my favourite folk singers here is also going to celebrate his birthday... on September 21... by seeing the Cohen concert! Should I start believing in stars and fate?!

And yeah, I found someone else whose birthday aparently is today (actually, more like yesterday, but there was a whole weekend celebration): my city, Bucharest.
