A bus tour Emm,
Well where would we start, Well outside Dublin of course. I think Damellon and co. have it very well covered. Soooo

We would head to Tara before there is nothing left to see and go towards Eamhain Macha, near Armagh passing through the midlands.
Red Poppy could tell us tales of a time long forgotten by everyone bar himself. (For he was there). Tales of Setanta and the Red Branch Knights. Cuchulainn and the Brown bull of Cooley (we’ll have to keep lonndubh away)

We would have to pass through Monaghan as we would all be getting hungry Ken (liverpoolken) and Blond M. Don’t forget your shovels for we’re putting you to work, gathering potatoes in the stony grey soil of Monaghan.
Damellon will make chips in her van that will be following the bus.
Tinderella will bring the wine.
We can stop of at The Big House (Tyrone Guthrie Centre) see if Pat will have us for tea.
We can Visit Historical Clones, the round tower and the wee abbey graveyard. Home of The Butcher Boy.

Back on the bus and on our way to Eamhain Macha, stop of at the visitors centre.
On the road again we’ll head to Belfast and Fisher will give us the full tour.
We’ll take the coast road to Derry where tiggs will be waiting.

Off to Donegal we’ll go it may or may not be lit up for us …real-alan you’re up. Can we go see that art exhibition based on Leonard’s music ??

Sligo, Leitrim in a flash any takers ??

We can take a boat trip in Fermanagh Fisher can do his thing.

On to Mayo… I’m looking forward to this. We’ll head out to Croagh Patrick, Steal Diane’s boots and see how quick she walks up the mountain this time.

In Galway we’ll go to salthill, well why not ??? Then head out to Connemara.

Clare we’ll count the steps into the caves, look around and hopefully not loss anyone.

We’ll take the Ferry from Killimer over to Tarbert and then do the ring of Kerry. NO motorbikes on this part of the tour. NOT safe.

Cork, I’m a bit lost now as I’ve only been once, Damellon will take this part of the tour.
Any takers for the rest I’m tired now… and I don’t know this part of the country too well.

As the only Dubliner here, so it would seem. Don't listen to the Culchies (country bumpkins / yokles) take it from a Jackeen (Dubliner) that you can rest assured that you don't need to venture far from the Fair City to enjoy Ireland. If you really want to you could go to the seaside nearby or visit the Wicklow mountains 1 hour away.

Seriously though, Monaghan is just full of stoney grey soil.

Hey, what a lovely idea the tour idea is Sure we hire a big tour bus, hitch up a chip shop loaded with battered sausage suppers, drag a hi-ace behind that for the westerners and donegal folk. Load the damm thing with with tequila and as soon as the dublin gigs are over take that route through to the ferry in larne and on to the manchester shows. Oh what a lovely night that would be

Joney - we've had the rise of that horrid creatrure the Celtic Tiger since the 80's and still no sign of you coming back.
Now theTiger is on a life support so we'll hardly see you soon?

What people forget though is that tigers are not native to Ireland and they've completely spoilt the eco-system there and upset a beautiful natural balance.

Tiggs I am so glad there is a person after me own heart who thinks chips, mash, roast and boiled is the ideal meal. Meat and four veg without the meat. I will meet you at the chippie I like a gerkin with mine. Get that nasty thought out of your head Damellon
