Obviously it's a complex process they are trying to dealing with. I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that Leonard is in Portugal on the 19th. The transportation from Lisboa to Castellón (the location for Bemicassim) is NOT easy, it is not straightforward, and it probably involves flying to Valencia since Castellón doesn't have a major airport, and Valencia is not that close. Usually when Leonard has two cities on subsequent dates the air transport is direct, and less obstacle-ridden. (Like Edinburgh-London). Leonard has no other cities scheduled back to back where the transportation is this awkward. But I might be wrong. Maybe they are asking for helicopters from Lisboa to Benicassim??!!... or maybe a charter flight for the whole gang.

Jarkko, the forum administrator is a dependable and kind fellow who has no responsibility for this information problem. He has done all that he could possibly do to abtain the definitive decision that we are all waiting for. He is still waiting and can not 'push the river'.

I also have purchased tickets to Benicassim and am anxiously awaiting this news.

I was simply making the point that Jarkko made a quite official statement which he states was received from the management.

Surely two weeks later, the management should make some kind of official statement to clear this up.

The info about the cancellation of Benicassim came directly from Leonard's tour management; I have not received any new details after that. Note that the concert is now removed also from the AEG website. I will of course post all information I receive from the parties involved.

Dear all:
What can I do? The only reason to buy the benicassin tickets was leonard cohen . I have tried to refund the money and they have told me that if there is no problem with the operation of buying the ticket there is no reason to any change or refund. I do not know who is the responsible for the cancellation but I do know that I have paid 170 euros and I will not see Leonard cohen.
