From Your Friend
Dear Paula, Lizzytysh just wrote me that your photo is
broken on the Gallery page and indeed it looks like it is - there is
a typo in the code of the page; I will correct it during
the weekend when I'm back home. Meanwhile, here
is Paula:
(Photo removed from here because NOW it is finally
in the Gallery, direct link here:

Thanks, Linda.
Yes, Paula ~ it sure is an interesting site. Just read the piece on "twisted bellybutton." Hey ~ good to see you here
! Hope to see you in NY in 2004, too
. I knooooow you don't want to be one of those left to only the reading of the many marvelous accounts, like so many of us are doing right now regarding Brooklyn. There's still time to think and plan ahead
and make wise decisions

AAAAARRRRRUUUUGHA Linda,
That is excellent web site. It can explain many things about Japanese people. There are other sites in Japanese characters for we Japanese to read about the West. To understand each other. It makes me happy that you try to understand me. I would like to drink that Corona beer!

Hi Linda,
I found the link you provided for us to be extremely interesting! It was a real treat!
It is the kind of article that proves how one can be totally unaware of another's feelings. Great care must be taken in our words and actions with each other. I will try to remember this myself in the future. I do not want to bend anyone's navel or twist anyone's belly button.

Yes, warm eyes, Paula

aaaaaaarrrrrrrrruuuuuuuugha, Godzilla ~ ooh, pressure pressure
. One thing I see so clearly through the accounts of Brooklyn is that there are as many perspectives of an event as there are people writing about it. I'll have my own for sure, unless I'm so overwhelmed by it all, I can't write a word. Even so, I'll be sure I write at least you a report from my perspective. There will no doubt be many written
.

Linda I saw this in the Daily Mail and I thought of you. They were listing the top ten football chants and this one is for Sheffield United sung to the tune of John Denver's "Annie Song"
"You fill up my senses like a gallon of Magnet, like a packet of Woodbines, like a good pinch of snuff, like a night out in Sheffield, like a greasy chip buttie, my Sheffield United come fill me again".
They don't write songs like that any more
