Hi Andrew,

This is a very nice memorial bench inscription. Having taken the time to
read those on the boardwalk at Ocean City, MD, I can say that I've read
none finer than this one. And that invitation to others will remind some
to center themselves in the moment to be "so kissed." Peace to you and
condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've lost your Mum, Andrew. I hope you shared as much of your poetry with her as possible, including the one some time ago about her. It sounds like you were a very good son to her. I know that brought her peace. Love is everlasting.

Love,
Lizzy

When we squabbled at dinner, arguing about this or that, or something else, Mum would always say "Sit at peace!"
And we did.
She fed us....loved us.

More to follow,

Andrew.

Dear Andrew,

Your memorial bench inscription is perfect. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.

I also lost my mother at precisely this time of year four years ago. The memories are still
with me though.

Take care,
Sherry

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother Andrew. I hope when I pass on my children will have that feeling of "She fed me. She loved me." Beautiful.

My sister told me "Mum told us to sit at peace, she never said please".
Well ,that shifts the message.
Not much....not at all.
It's the difference between an invitation and an instruction.
The rest is guaranteed.

Maybe it should read..

Sit at peace: allow
the sun to kiss you face
