Re: NEeMA on tour in US

Does anyone know why the Boston concert at Berklee, scheduled for April 16, was cancelled last week? Ticketmaster has refunded my tickets but gave no explanation. Leonard from Montreal I wish I knew. I just went on line to buy tickets. :( Len, Lynne: The Berklee show was "canceled because of t...

I'm about 1/4 way through it. The scene at the "Willie Shop" made me laugh out loud!

It is...I'm doing the opening greeting at this Sunday's service, and since I'm sort of on an Oscar Wilde kick lately, I'm going to use your signature quote!

Re: Church with wine, roses, and Cohen!

I was surprised that rufus wainwright's Hallelujah was used as the Prelude music at our church today. Even more surprised when they used "Always Look on the Bright Side of Live" from "The Life of Brian" as the Offertory music. It's kind of a unique church, as you might have figur...

I'm a relatively new Leonard Cohen fan, so I don't know all his music, but this song sounds like Lyle Lovett's "Church".

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Las Vegas, Nevada, December 10 & 11, 2010

I really can't add anymore to all the wonder eloquence displayed by forum members here. Friday night was my first Leonard Cohen concert ever, and Saturday was the second. I can't imagine any concert experience ever topping them! (And I've been to many concerts...this wasn't even my first time flying...

I think I'm going to let them molest me.
I figure that if they are going to violate my constitutional rights, I might as well make them work for it.

I would like to buy tow, also. Any color. I'll be in Vegas for both shows.
Thanks.

Re: Way off topic question - full body scanner at LV airport

I flew out of the Las Vegas Airport on Oct. 26 and there was no full body scanner at that time.
I've heard that if you can get high doses of radiation from them, and that can be an issue if you are frequent flyer.

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc

If anyone is traveling with children, (or not, the show is entertaining for adults, too) I'd highly recommend Mac King's show at Harrah's. It's in the afternoon, inexpensive (you can find coupons around town that give an even greater discount) and is lots of fun. Mac is an incredible magician and th...

Re: Ticketing info for the last concerts in December

So, to add insult to injury, if I go to Oakland I will have to pay for the new ticket(s) before I receive the refund for the Honolulu ticket. I have had such faith in the organisation of this tour for 3 whole years. Now it has all flown out of the window over the past couple of days. Wendy I'm so s...
