But what is it ania? Is that LC, or a cardboard cut out of him? Who is in the photo within the photo? Why do you love it? So many questions.

Ha. I just noticed the 'devil fingers' above Leonard's head

. Is that a grade-school photo of him? Who's on the left? I love it, too, for its intrigueing composition and the close-up of the fingers amidst it all, Ania.

dont know who, dont know why.
just love it. something nostalgic about it.

Yes, "nostalgic" is what I get from it, too, Ania.

Ahhh... interesting... nostalgic, too, in that I haven't seen a photo booth in years. Do they still exist?
I was hoping the link would identify the person on the left

Ania
I lived across the street from Ray Carver when I was out there.
I bought an iron from him at a yard sale
I think it must be somewhere if she will tell me where.

you should have bought the bed.
you'd be famous.

it might be Irving Layton, Louis Dudek, Frank Scott,
or "other poets".

( <3 meg)
but in any case it is in fact a very poignant, nostalgic,
yard-sale-like scene
-of leonard moving, and then going through, a box of old stuff
-right after "...35 boxes of documents and memorabilia {were}
seized by the Los Angeles County sheriff's office from
the home of Leonard Cohen's former manager."

You've been taken"
