First Poem

For the love of God
with the warmth of God
these flowers you press in my
hand, they flood the room.
Separate the waters from the waters
The parting sea reveals dry land,
new fervor,
and suddenly a fountain of forgiveness
a forest of ecstacy

It's wonderful to see you back here, again, Grace. Your absences seem well purposed. With its biblical references, First Poem appears to be one that also marks 'the first' since the return of another... and it's lush

Grace,
Very nice poem. Second part of it may be metaphorically analogous to the
fertilization/enrichment that takes place naturally in some river flood plains.
