Introducing myself

Hi folks --
I've been lurking for a while, and finally decided to register.
I haven't belonged to a fan-anything since I was about 15! Nonetheless, my deep and enduring love of Cohen's music has only become richer since I discovered it about 10 years ago.
So, I thought I'd jump in and get to know you....
Wow

Fantastic artwork Zoe, hope its going well for you; I'm an outcast here (I insist upon such things), but welcome none the less.

Welcome to the Forum, Zoe

It's lovely when a lurker finally becomes discontent in their self-assigned role, and decides to join in for greater nourishment. I see that you'll be seeing Perla. Wish I could. Glad you can. I'll be interested to hear your report. I really like your Yeats quote

.
You're already no-excuses close to Edmonton

I promise you a review of Perla's gig, (from my perspective, anyhow.)
I'm saving my travel-to-Canada funds for the possibility of a Cohen tour, which remains a speculation, but one I'm not willing to dismiss.
Heck, I'd fly to Europe for that if need be......

As for Yeats -- glad you folks like the quote. I think he stirs up some of the same emotions in me that Leonard does....

I think he stirs up some of the same emotions in me that Leonard does....
... and I suspect does in Leonard as well

Hi Zoe!
I echo Lizzy's comments about the Yeats quote - brilliant!

(I was in Ireland in September and visited his grave at Drumcliff.)
Cheers
