Hello,
Every year, the "Flanders International Film Festival" in Belgium (Ghent) takes place in October. In January, I emailed the festival's film programmer about "I'm your man" and he replied "that it seemed like an interesting project" and that he "would try and screen the film in Berlin".
A few days ago, he emailed me again and thanked me for the tip. He also wrote:
"we will do everything we can to get the film to Ghent.
Everything will depend on wheter the film will be available during the dates of the festival."
So it seems like I won't have to travel far to see the film (50km). Too bad the festival is held in October and not, let's say... NOW.

Marrten the number one foosball player in the world is from Belgium his name is Fredrico Collignon. The worlds were in Vegas this last weekend and it was the first time in the last 6 years that he didn't win about every event he entered. He is amazing. Just wondering if you have heard of him as he is a legend in Belgium and through out the world.

SWITZ,
I don't know the man nor have I ever heard of him, but it's nice to see he's the best! I went to college in Ghent and there's quite a big tradition of foosball-playing there! I'm not really into playing foosball, but I've got an official foosball-table in the attic at home. It's an old one I got from a student cafe some years ago and which I have tried to fix without spending a lot of money on it. It plays nice and especially my 2 little sons (3 and 5 yrs old) enjoy it a lot!
Back to Cohen now:
The screening dates for the film in Ghent are made public:
14/10 at 20:00 in Kinepolis 08
(Tickets sale as from 30/09/2006)
20/10 at 14:30 in Kinepolis 03
(Tickets sale as from 30/09/2006)
More info here:
http://www.filmfestival.be/tickets.cgi? ... AD&lang=en (in English)
http://www.filmfestival.be/tickets.cgi? ... AD&lang=nl (in Dutch)
I won't make it on the 20th, but I'll definitely go the 14th (which is a Saturday evening screening)
Anyone else going?
