Thought For The Day.

It does appear that as the number of categories to post under increases the quality of posts on the forum decreases.

Well, that didn't take long

. At least we nosedive, immediately, and get it over with

Now hang on p, I really enjoyed the confusion my Kilroy remark made

It shows how easily people put their own meaning to the things written here - and miss the fun!!

??????
Now hang on Cia, you
were 'apologizing' for it, y'know. That's not
sooooo conceptual a leap when you're over there, I'm here, and we use different, English terms; and these two are
so close
. And need I mention the context of the moment?
Besides, I don't even have a direct recollection where I've
encountered Mr. Kilroy, so there was no automatic basis for connection, and his name had no meaning for
me. Bypassing the fun isn't exactly squaring with this 'teeny-tiny' list here

. Besides.
I had fun breaking "Kilroy" down into its components; and even suggested you invite him home with you, after I met him and approved

.
Oh, yes ~ and then there's the thread title ~ "Let the fight begin"

. Kilroy better be sittin' on your porch, the next time I come by your house, that's all
I have to say

.
Geesh!

Perhaps we could have a "dustbin" section of the forum. I am sure it would be popular.

p.
It may also increase the total number of posts made per day to keep all the dustbins equal (more or less) and keep the present rate for each. On the other hand if there is some diffusion process between the dustbins the average number of posts may remain the same and the individual dustbin levels may be a little lower.

Maybe you should post more often partisan, for sake of the increasing quality of the posts. Now what are the exact characteristics to this quality, I let to somebody else the work to find out in details.
Lz, Ah! since when do you jugde a book by its cover? The title... Lets the figth begin... it was a joke, certainly, the fight could not begin as it never ended since I read this forum.
Right Cia! 50% (so to speak) here are misunderstandings. It is real life, after all. People don't "listen" as much as they "speak". It is a real kill joy.

Ah, I see, Tchoc......you just skip to the
end of the book [last paragraph] and think
you got the story! Reading 50% does no better than listening 50%. Kill joy.
[Just between you and me ~ going to the postings themselves, you'll see I handled it all in quite good humour ~ thank you thank you ~ however, between you and me, again ~ the appearance of this posting and message goes straight into the trash bin of confusion. Just between you and me ~ I had to come back in and edit my post, as I'd forgotten about the title. Noticed it on my way out, so it t'weren't the crux, so to speak. You'll have to backtrack to get that, though.]
Not sure that you got the joke, though. But, why didn't you show up
there laughing at it? I'm guessing you got the one that's here in this thread?
I'll give you another one to hoot & holler with: Made a brief visit to the Chatroom tonite looking for South Africa Jo ~ The title for tonite [and who knows for how long?] was: "Welcome to the last Lizzytysh free zone in Cohenland." Thanks, Wens

. It's that dang intuition I have I guess. Just when you think you managed it ~ there you are ~ found out. Tim with the yellow car was nice enough to change it, absent asking; even though he had to do it manually. Thanks, Tim

. Guess, maybe, I need to start conserving my strength

.
Carry on, ladies ....

. Wouldn't want to ruin the joke. Sorry you missed my laughter.

Arrhuh?
Jumping to the (false) conclusion, Lz. Tsk-tsk. Not a big deal, only 50%. 'Cause the reality is : I noticed how you handled this rather delicate matter with grace. I mean somebody pulling your leg. End of the story. Take care. Don't worry. Be Happy. Broke a leg, dear. (No more cliché from me tonight, though.)

Tchoc ~
[Just so you know, for future reference, the phrase is, "
Break a leg"

. You're welcome

.]

P.S. :
'Cause the reality is : I noticed how you handled this rather delicate matter with grace. I mean somebody pulling your leg. End of the story.
Thank you for noticing, Tchoc.

Oh, good, Cia

.
Perhaps, I'll see Kilroy hitching, enroute, and give him a lift

.
This is much better

~ as the last time [within a week] we spoke in PMs, all was very lovely. I wanted to take longer in answering that one, so haven't, yet; but will.
Thanks

.
Hugs, too,

Okay. Your name was placed in conjunction with its appearance.
