The did say that about his previous records, but I didn't like them (throw burned copies out while moving to the new place... ) - I read that the new record is exquisite. True?

This man can do no wrong, Red Apple Fall, Supper, Knock Knock, Dongs of
Sevotion. Rain on Lens, The Doctor Came at Dawn. A River Ain't Too Much To Love.
Any of these will make you happy. Drag City is the label his stuff is released on and they have a website. Order direct from them and the stuff is cheap.
He's currently touring. Just saw him two weeks ago. Great show. Quiet and moody stuff. Hints of Lou Reed, Nick Cave, LC.
Great Poetry. Each release has it's own taste.

Your description of the concerts sure sound appealing. I can't tell a whole lot by the names of the songs, though I think I got a few inklings from a couple of them.

Yes, every time I come to this section, there's more and more music being discussed by virtually everyone, and none of the artists are familiar. They, being young and enthusiastic go to the web sites, download, trade, buy and know so much more than humanly possible!

Geez, I remember when ....

It's always good to know I can write names down, and make the list everlonger... :D
