It’s that time of the year again. You know I always look forward to this annual traditional thread and LC’s Silent Night.

Holidays at Christmas time in the summer where I live are symbolised by a flaming red tree.
They dot the landscape most visually everywhere. There’s one by the bottom of my garden.

As Leonard says:

I am so glad I’m able to be here for another year and join in wishing everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. These days so many people over the world cannot enjoy the simple pleasures of life that were once taken for granted. My heart goes out to all those in the most difficult and unfortunate of circumstances not of their own making.

Hi,

Appropriately chastened, Dar. Late getting Christmas cards out and presents together. But now hours before Santa arrives it is good to thank Eija for the beautiful image, redolent with the possibility of peace that this year has not really provided. But also to thank Jarkko and team for providing the Leonard Cohen world with this gift for sharing.

Happy Christmas one and all and may 2023 be kinder and gentler to us all.

May all the forum members who died this year rest in peace.
