I can't believe that there is only one small mention of Sharon's tragic loss of her husband on the Forum (under Related Artists).

The reason why Sharon's tour has been cancelled is because her husband has died suddenly.

Thank you for bringing it here where it belongs. My heart is with Sharon and their son, and with Leonard, as well. He's the godfather of their son, so he's been close to all of them, and it's a loss for him, as well.

I met Greg after your concert at Hotel Cafe in LA last year and he was so sweet and kind. I introduced myself as I wanted to ask if you were coming out to sign your book and he said "Oh are you Mutti from the forum?". I was so surprised and touched. He had remembered a review I had written after seeing you in San Francisco.

There is a very happy family photo that I noticed on Arlene's Leonard Cohen Scrapbook, which I have linked to here.

I spoke to Michael Gold (Greg Gold & Sharon's son) after Sharon's show in Dublin earlier this year. He was a very talented, genuinely friendly, polite and tolerant (of me and my camera) young man - a real credit to his parents. I was looking forward to seeing Sharon again next weekend, but this news puts everything in perspective. My sympathies.
