Dear reader,

I wrote a track last night which I feel should be categorised as unashamedly Cohenesque (if only in attempt) and so thought some here may enjoy to either listen or better still, critic. I do not think I have shared my music with you before though I have long used this wonderful forum as a place to keep up to date with and find all things Cohen.

As an artist I do try not to imitate but sometimes I find if I fall asleep to a song I may then not escape it for days and I think this may have happened here. If memory serves me well I drifted off to 'In my secret life' the night before this recording session.

I hope you enjoy.

What stood out most for me was your singing...there's an attractive vulnerability and frailty to it....was reminded of Jeff Buckley. This came across in your other song on youtube too, 'in this house'.
