I actually quite like her, though I'm not sure about this, it's such a 'man's' song, and so strongly 'Leonard' for me.

EDIT: No I definitely do like this, I like that it's kept the guitar accompaniment.

For me, it's pro, not contra

Well, perhaps we don't use Sony products, we prefer other brands, we may even disrespect Columbia Records secretly, I don't know. But as far as I remember, we consider this commercial - http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/sonyad.html - as a masterpiece, at least a true piece of art, don't we?

Yes, I do feel the difference between normal and hidden advertisement. The last one isn't entirely faithful. Then, smoking is a bad habit. I've never smoked, I (sincerely hope so) never will. What I know for sure, is that I didn't buy my first pack of Marlboro on the way from my work where I saw this video to my house.

So, my verdict is: this shameless advertisment doesn't work. And this music does!

I am becoming more and more impressed with Lana Del Rey. Especially since her album in January 2012 slipped out just about the same time as Leonards...otherwise I may not have noticed her. What a silky, smoky voice. She does justice to Chelsea Hotel #2, although to me it still seems like it should be a "guy" song. Perhaps poetic licence could have changed the words "you were" to "I was".

Others have mentioned commercials? I didn't see any of that. There was one at the beginning but after 3 seconds it was deletable.

Will keep my eyes open for any possible US concerts.

I really like Lana Del Rey and I love the fact that she chose to cover a Leonard Cohen song.
