Exciting news from Leonard Cohen Newswire on FB:

Two weeks before the first concert of Leonard Cohen 2012 World Tour and the rehearsals are now officially over. We have couple of unofficial Facebook statuses and tweets: Chris Bynum, back-line technician of the Unified Heart Touring Company, writes today that "Camp Cohen has packed up and we are now moving towards Europe." The Webb Sisters reported that yesterday was "our last day of running the new set before Ghent (there are some surprises in there)". We don't have any ideas about the new set list and arrangements yet, but on June 25 Dino Soldo wrote: "Quite interesting change of sound in the LC band. The sound is definitely more focused. I'm quite surprised. When you see the show you'll know why."

Me too, but gone are the days when you went to the show without a single idea on what songs would be performed.... I won´t be able to not check the setlist before the show in Copenhagen...

I can't wait to see Mr. Cohen's rebuilt band with Moldovan violinist Alex Bublitchi, who took part on the Spanish tribute concerts back in 2006-07.

Ghent, here I go!

I would be very happy to hear some of the songs from earlier tours. Also "Born In Chains" is a must for me.
It is so exciting to finally be days away from the Big Day. :D

I wish Leonard and the Band a healthy and successful future.

Less than a week to go! I'm getting VERY excited to see Leonard on Sunday. It'll be my second concert and I'm looking forward to it ever since I attented my first LC concert. :)

Let's hope for a long setlist with some surprises! Although I must admit, that it wouldn't bother me to see him with the same setlist he played on the last tour + some Old Ideas tunes. Everything will be fine, as long as the shows will be as good and long as on the last tour!

I hope that you are all excited too. Let's fill this thread with all your expectations so we all get even more excited! :D

The most exciting thing about the first night is that we really don't know anything about the setlist! I think that's great and I'm so glad I will be there on Sunday (and Saturday too). Learnt on Facebook Mr. Cohen is already in Ghent, which is so exciting. I can even feel the Cohen vibes at my hometown now  And the Webbsisters posted on there Facebook page they are in Ghent too, and they are enjoying it! Or are they already eating Belgian chocolates?
