Last year, I went to this free private show that singer/songwriter Jewel put on for fans in a small little town in Texas. Towards the end of her 3 hour show she talked about how she felt that the inspiration for her song, Angel Standing By, was inspired by Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.

Just thought of this because she recently tweeted about creating her version of,"I'm Your Man," with Dita Von Tess' Burlesque show in mind. Sounds interesting.
