I wanted a boat
for cheaping price
so I went to the
January sails
big sign
blood red and grassy green
"boats 50% off"
so I bought one
and drowned the next day
because
the half off
was the bottom.
also I know lots of women who need half off their bottoms but I am too lady to say that.

Happy New Year, fish. [sorry you drowned] [at least it's a comedy, and not a tragedy]
.. okay, I have to go back to feeling ill. By the way, your writing is getting progressively worse. If this condition continues, I recommend two aspirin, and lots of orange juice. [oh, that's for me, actually] For you, I suggest two hand towels dipped in ice-cold water, then placed on the forehead while lying down. [actually, that's also for me]
later, fish.

a fish, a banana and a flower walk into a bar ...
I'm sorry to hear of your not good sail M. Fish ... I bet there will be mast protests from the stores customers.
Happy New Year to my favourite fish, a strange woman with a banana fetish and my favourite flower!!!

.. seriously: is English a second language to you???.. because if it is, you're actually pretty good.
[that's sort of like when the pitcher throws the guy out stealing second base]

Happy New Year to you too, Cate (!).. Now, when they walked into the bar, was the banana wearing suspenders?.. [I'm just trying to get this situated correctly in my mind]..

yes - I'm pretty sure the banana was wearing suspenders ... I'm not sure why but that certainly feels right. xx
