I see a resemblance between Elizabeth and NeEma. I liked the love poem she wrote to her dog and intend to go see her at Joes Pub in NYC on Mar. 30 because of it. Her performance is still affordable. If they don't stop me I will try to get some YouTubes. Here is the blog where she says to her dog, "You taught me how to love again."

I don't know about "ancient goddess" but she seems like a nice lady and a potentially interesting artist. It's only $12 for the show. For New York, that's cheap. Maybe nobody knows about here.

Yes... in the eyes of the beholder . It was what I thought when I first saw photos of her and, again, when I met her in person, though. $12!?! What a deal!! I hope there's a great turnout from here.

I got a ticket for myself and one for my sister and they were numbered 27 and 28. Forgot to add that the food and drink there is way overpriced, not very good and there is a $12 minimum.

Maybe the ticket numbers are in reverse order... and, if not, you folks will be enjoying a beautiful and intimate concert by Nadine. I only wish I could be there, too!

What is her connection with LC? Is she the next Anjani? Looks and sounds a bit similar, although, imo, not as good a singer.

They are both from Montreal, they met there and formed a friendship. NEeMA wrote the songs in her new album with Leonard's guidance.

The differences between Anjani and NEeMA are quite distinct: Anjani is a professional musician, a pianist and a vocalist. Anjani worked with Leonard for many years (since "Various Positions" if I am not mistaken) and her album "Blue Alert" is comprised of songs written by Leonard and performed by Anjani (Anjani composed some of the tunes, but Leonard wrote all of the songs). NEeMA, on the other hand, is a songwriter. She has been writing songs for many years, and started performing some of her work a few years ago. Most of what she sings is her own original work. Leonard helps her grow as a songwriter but she performs mainly her own work, not Leonard's (although she did cover "avalanche" recently).

Some may agree with this opinion, but then again, Anjani is a musician who has been honing her musical skills for years whereas NEeMA's focus has been quite different.

I did recognize the picture, I think I saw it in Toronto, with the same title, so Neema has used it for her album cover but it wasn't drawn by LC specifically for the cover. Is it portrait of her (because I had previously assumed it was Anjani)?
