I have these recordings on cd's now; they are, again, in WAV format, & the sound is very good. Just these issues should be noted: In Las Vegas 12/10/10, about one-third of Waiting for the Miracle, & Anthem, are missing (my batteries died (*#*%!!!) From then on, I always put in new batteries before a concert - so that will NEVER happen again!!); & Chelsea Hotel #2 begins on the 1st cd & continues on the 2nd cd; Take This Waltz is divided, but it divides just before Leonard introduces the band members. In the Oakland recording,Tower of Song is missing (long line in ladies' room - they started before many of us got back (this never happened to me before!) & security wouldn't let us enter till end of song - THAT will never happen again either!); Chelsea Hotel, again, starts on the 1st cd & continues on the 2nd cd; in Hallelujah, the first line of the song is at the very end of the 2nd cd & the rest of the song continues on the 3rd cd. The 4th cd is only 1.9 minutes long - it has the last verse of I Tried To Leave You plus cheers/applause. (When the songs are divided, they do pick up exactly where they left off on the previous cd.)

Okay, pe - you got it! You will be the first on the European vine; I am planning to mail the cd's on Mon. I still have your address, & I will make another post to confirm that the package has been sent.

And I put this in the other thread (LV 12/11) but I just want to make sure people know: you can put music in WAV format into your iPod (maybe most people already know, but I just discovered that yesterday) - you don't have to convert it to MP3; so the sound will be better, & the songs that were divided can become merged (or at least more seamless).

It's a Bonanza!!! BOTH Las Vegas concerts! Wow. Sorry to hear about the Anthem situation. Do these capture the comment Leonard made about his not really liking calling us fans because it's something much deeper than that? That comment of his alone would be worth an entire concert's cd.

Yes, both those situations were VERY DISTURBING - & the most disturbing part is that I thought of putting in new batteries before that concert, & long story short, I very stupidly didn't follow that instinct. And no, I am VERY SAD to say, I did not get the very beautiful & precious words that Leonard said right before Anthem - the batteries died in the middle of Waiting for the Miracle, which was right before Anthem (I wanted to shoot myself when I looked down & saw that the light on my recorder had gone out!!) Well, I guess I have to be thankful that at least I got everything else (thank goodness I brought fresh batteries with me, & was able to put them in during intermission!!), & at least I made all my mistakes before the LV 12/11 concert, & therefore, I did get the ENTIRE concert on that last night - nothing missing from that one at all (hallelujah!)!!

We have been dividing the vines into 2 branches - one for Europe/UK & one for North America. Since you are the first one in North America to sign up for this vine, I will send you a copy of the cd's directly, & then if anyone in No. America signs up after you, you can send it on. If you can just send me a PM with your address, I will make copies & mail them asap. Thanks.

There MAY be someone in front of her from N.America, I just didn't pay attention to that aspect.

I can only imagine your CHAGRIN on that big miss! AT least it got caught on YouTube! Those instincts are SO there for a reason, aren't they? It just makes it all worse, though, that the thought struck you and you dismissed it. I know how that can be and it's miserable!

You are the first one in No. America on the vine for LV 12/10/10 & Oakland 12/6/10.

Right, that's what I realized after I went and found the 12/11/10 vine, which was on a separate thread... and brought the list of names to here. That's why I suggested that maybe they'd want to be included here, as well. So, when the 12/10/10 one arrives here, I'll make my copy and hold on to the original, in case names get added for it.
