Vine for St. Margarethen im Burgenland (Sept 2010)

I just returned home and Ken's package with 3CD set of Leonard Cohen's fan-bootleg "I didn't come to Roemersteinbruch St. Margarethen im Burgenland to fool ya" was in my mailbox.

According to Ken, it's THE BEST Cohen recording from this tour - Juraj did even better job than in Salzburg - and I say it was a mighty show.

So let's start a vine for circulation of this audience recording.

I suggest that I send it from Croatia to my neighbour country, Austria, to neo, so he can start EU branch. Maybe we can use some experiences from Salzburg vine to see how to get oversea.

The show was again taped by Juraj from Croatia, in MP3 format, high quality, from 1st row in front of right sound system. It was deadly cold night so Austrian audience was wrapped in blankets, very polite and perceptive.

Encores were recorded in front of Leonard, and there was some crowd fight (cameraman couldn't shoot LC so was pissed of at one annoying fan in front of camera), plus some singing from around Juraj which get in way to LC's singing.

This 3CD set is tracked by Ken, while previously Jura did some editing and applause removing (this time there were no camera bleeps to be removed).

Foxwood's instructions from Sligo' vine repeated here:
If you would like a copy of this concert then please make ONE posting below.
This thread will act as the list that determines the order of distribution of the discs so please do not post more than once in this thread.
Whoever is top of this list should send me a PM with their details.
I will then post them the concert on 3 discs.
Once you receive the discs please edit your original post to say that they have arrived.
You then copy them and make contact with the next person in the vine via PM and arrange to send them the discs.
Once you have posted the discs please edit your original post so we can see that the discs have been dispatched.
Special thanks to Jura and Ta Ken!

Pe,
I was sort of waiting for you to join in, so I'll get in line behind you! Are you sending Nicolas and some others a message?

Maarten

I had some problems with CDRs, so I will have to buy new ones (I miss one:) - so I guess I'll post discs on Monday, if I don't go to the main post which works always.

Just listening to the first set, checking neo's first two CDs (of 3CD set) - well, it is AMAZING - sound quality as Salzburg, but LC & band loud and powerfull. It confirms my memory of it being my favourite LC show I saw or heard on recording.

Sorry that I didn't tell you before... It wouldn't have been no problem to send me the FLACs on two discs. Wouldn't have been a problem to make audio discs from them...
Well you know now for the next vine...
Thanks for the trouble you took for sharing the recording with us!

Hi neo, there's no flac with these ones - Jura (my friend here) is recording the shows we go to on pro mp3-recorder... But I have problems with the online links he sent to his mailing list of Cohenites, so Ken makes 3CD set for me and few other friends, so when I received Ken's CDs I started both vines.

I will enclose and extra DVDR for you - I have like 20+ double flac CDs I got from Ken, his spare copies. I checked my external memory, took what I don't have, so the rest is for further giving away:)

If we wanna start another vine, I can send you Wiesbaden Sept 3, 2010 flac. I will surely enclose newly "restored" 1980 Tel Aviv FM recording - a month ago it was finally re-recorded from tape, cleaned, tracked and uploaded to dime.
