i couldn't sleep because i felt flustered
so i went downstairs and mixed me some custard
i shovelled in a jawful
but it tasted f***ing awful
and then i noticed on the label it said 'mustard'

Bluck - hot coco would be better
~~
There once was a poet named Geoffrey
who one night Sleep found absentee.
‘It’s not that I find you a bore
or that I do not like to snore …
I simply find you to be, a little bourgeoisie.

So I picked up the jar and flung it so far
It is now in small pieces and busted

the floor is a mess and so is my dress
even the cat has been encrusted

i see several viewers from my audience have been inspired to respond to the short verse i composed early this morning. thank you, kind readers. your warm reception is an encouraging reward for my efforts, and a fine confirmation that i remain able to captivate the imagination of my followers in a manner unequalled by my contemporaries. i humbly bow to your applause.

Thanks for the smile Geoffrey...
It is an odd kinda smile, it doesn't know whether it's going to erupt into laughter or turn into tears - perhaps both, like a double edged sword, but it's definitely a smile regardless

Now he's licking his fur and starting to purr
I don't think that cat can be trusted

I recently stumbled across an intriguing poem I felt I had read many times before, and something compelled me to read it yet again…
Geoffrey writes:
i couldn't sleep because i felt flustered
so i went downstairs and mixed me some custard
i shovelled in a jawful
but it tasted f***ing awful
and then i noticed on the label it said 'mustard'
I was always really curious as to what happened next, beyond those few phrases…
In fact, last night, I thought about it so much I couldn't sleep!

oh, that's really simple. it took me less than a minute to write what we all know about Geoffrey
i couldn't sleep because i felt flustered
so i went downstairs and mixed me some custard
i shovelled in a jawful
but it tasted f***ing awful
and then i noticed on the label it said 'mustard'
so I called Dr Zoidberg
my other I.D.
he quickly diagnosed that I can not scan at all in my
poetry
he had the needle
and this came to pass
he gave me a prick
up my aliass

I simply find you to be, a little bourgeoisie.
I imagined it yellow, but I guess it was Dijon.
