I would suggest Leonard and the band the beautiful city of Verona.
There is a big ancient open air ARENA which would be a wonderful location for a Concert

Dreaming is allowed...isn't it

Hi Andrea,

I can visualise the concert in the areana. I sang there with my choir at the famous Verona choral festival so I can recommend it highly as a venue. Oh what a show that would be. Leonard and the band on a balmy Verona evening singing to the heavens. I am there already!!!!

I am amused by, but enjoying, the speculation about additional concerts. If they were to go ahead, I must agree that the Verona Arena would offer a spectacular venue. Back in the Summer of 1997 my wife and I attended a memorable performance of "Carmen" at this venue. The natural ampitheatre provides fantastic acoustics which would suit Leonard and the band tremendously. I might even be tempted to sit further back on the old stone steps. The view is excellent from nearly all vantage points. It gets my vote.

I just read at a Dutch holidaywebsite about Umbria that Leonard will be (among others) at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, which will be held from 9-18 july 2010.
