I see your sun is shining, but I wont make a fuss, although its obvious...that you mean 'instrumental' version, John:-)

Hi Diane,
You are indeed correct! (I did mean "instrumental"). By the way, Jeff Beck was sitting a few rows behind me at one of Brian Wilson's Royal Festival Hall concerts, in recent times.
All good things, John E

Did anyone see Jeff Beck on Eric Clapton's 2007 Crossroads? I sat all day and watched the live stream of that show!

Amazing and wonderful artists.
But Jeff was there - and there were some amazing performances by him - with his wonderful young Australian bass guitarist - Tal Wilkenfeld (she toured with him).
Check out the amazing performances by both Jeff Beck and Tal Wilkenfeld -

Hi Sturgess:-) Just watched your links. Yes we talked about the Crossroads Guitar Festival on here before, and the clips from it, with as you say all those amazing artists together, just make me feel sick with longing to be at such a festival if another takes place. Tal Wilkenfeld is a very talented young woman!

Clips of Jeff Beck last Saturday at the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Fest (will you do the next Crossroads in the UK, Eric, or do you want me to grow wings and fly across the Atlantic?):
Over the Rainbow:

(this track is from his recent Emotion and Commotion album which features Tal Wilkenfeld, Joss Stone, Imelda May)
Rollin and Tumblin:

And Jeff with Eric from earlier this year doing I Want to Take You Higher:

Also worth copying from last week - Miss You, Ronnie Wood with Buddy Guy:

I imagine many more clips from the fest. will crop up in due course.

Thanks for the video Diane.
I wish it had been streamed live - as in 2007!!! I was all set to spend the day watching.
Eric has gone "pageboy" with the hair style.

Yeah shame about the lack of live-streaming. I haven't found much professionally-shot footage yet, Sturgess. I imagine there will be a dvd.
Here's a cool vid of Jeff and Eric (yes, his hairstyle was maybe offside) playing Moon River from earlier this year.

Those six words sum up the World Cup, I'd say. (It's prob. not as big a deal on the other side of the pond!)
