Hi
(I know there is an old thread that contains Berlin and Cologne together).
Anyone know anything about meetup in Berlin.

Hi courage,
I came to read this only now and I wonder why there hasn't been any response yet.
Are we the only ones to attend the Berlin concert

I will be there but looks like there is not going to be any meetup - too few of us around (so many go to Cologne/Köln)

I will be there and would love to attend a meet up close to the venue (as I am travelling on my own, I am staying at the East Side Hotel next door to the O2). I didn't reply to courage's message as I didn't know anything about a meet up! There must be loads of us going to Berlin who are just waiting for a sign.

Hi,
I was trying to come up with some suggestion. Problem is, the venue O2 is new and there is no Café or Restaurant close to the O2. I am working on thursday and will be lucky if I make it to the O2 around 7 o'clock p.m. So I cannot really suggest a meetup other than in front of the O 2 arena which is not very comfortable. So sorry about this.
Anyway, only 3 more days ...
Looking forward to thursday, Christel

Of course I'll also be there and stay at the East Side Hotel, arriving in the afternoon. If there is nothing else around, perhaps the hotel bar (if there is one) might be the place to meet. Will there be an
early entrance like during the American tour? Probably not, if we are only a handfull of people...
Hope to see two or three of them

Wonderful, actually there are people who are coming to Berlin ! *happy dance*
As I will be staying at the IBIS Hotel, only a few hundred meters away from the East Side Hotel, why not meet at one of them since they're both close to the O2.

Well, actually I planned to visit the "Bodies" exhibition since it's only a few minutes away from my Hotel (Juncker's), but I'll arrive around noon, so I'll still have enough to meet up somewhere. Unfortunately, I'm not from Berlin myself, so I have no idea about any cafés in that area. We don't have to be a huge crowd to sit together.

How about this place : Cafe Via Nova
There we had our last years meetup after the concert! It is not far from the O2 World! We could walk to the concert hall in a few minutes!

Have a look at the map:

I'd be fine with that! Should we make a reservation?

I am also in East side hotel. Either that hotel or the cafe above is ok. I do not know the area, nor the city. Anything decided I will be there.
This is said about that hotel
Our Restaurant
Restaurant on Souterrain of the Hotel
with 20 tables. Excellent International Cuisine.
(from their webpage)
(last time I was to a meetup I walked a looong way that the person suggested the place never showed up.)

regarding the cafe nova
if we decide for that one - I found on their webpage nova 1 and nova 2. we have to make sure we go to the same (might be obvious looking at a map.

Any place close to the o2 will be fine. And if many of us stay in the same hotel this might be the easiest place for most. But the interesting question is still whether there will be something like early entrance. I'm sure Jarkko knows there is none and will tell us soon.

No early entrance to any of the concerts in Europe!!
So the idea is to go to Cafe Nova after the concert, right?

My suggestion is - we, who are in the east side hotel - can just meet in the lobby or bar before.
and then take the cafe afterwards (nova1 or 2?). Maybe someone living in the area can phone and book.
