What a great opportunity to see The Webb Sisters 'up close and personal' Their EP from http://www.thewebbsisters.com is wonderful - I hope they will play some of the songs from their EP at their special Webb Sisters concert the night before they play Radio City Music Hall with Leonard.

Special guests at the Webb Sisters show were... Mr. Javier Mas and Mr. Roscoe Beck. Rafael and Dino were in the audience. A few dozen people attended.

Webster Hall Studio is an intimate, casual little space next to the main theater. The Webbs performed for about 50 minutes, and later mingled with the attendees. A lovely time.

I'm not familiar with enough of their catalog to name all the songs, but they did perform everything from their EP -- which is available on the LC tour. Those songs were "Baroque Thoughts," "Words That Mobilize," "In Your Father's Eyes," "Calling This Life," and, of course, "If It Be Your Will."

A little late, but I have been busy in NY. I have to say that I really enjoyed their set, even though if was a bit short (I passed on a Marc Ribot show to see them). They were very relaxed and interactive with the audience. Charley improvised by using her guitar as a drum. They refer one of the special guests as Javvy, and then referred to Javvy and Roscoe as the other 'sisters'. They played the songs from their EP and a few new ones to be included on their upcoming release.

And, it was fun to chat and share a pint or 3 with Damfino!
