Ticket pre-sales: International purchasers?

Did anyone living outside the US or Canada manage to purchase tickets in Monday's presales? If so, how did you get past the apparent restriction to US or Canadian registered credit cards? (Delivery options were US or Canada Will Call only - no International - and the choice of one or the other "fixed" the credit card country).

I'm an Australian who shops online for various items (mainly fashion) in the USA.
Many of the USA online websites do not accept CC from international addresses.
So we use a
USA Parcel Forwarding Service, called
Shopaholiques
which is run by a lovely lady - Fiona Arang. I know her services also include Personal Shopping and Mail Forwarding.
May I suggest for those here who live outside the USA and wish to purchase LC USA concert tickets, they could consider contacting Fiona to discuss if she is able to secure tickets on their behalf and then forward these tickets to them.

it could be a problem... had the same issue with a morrissey presale, when you had to have a US address to buy the tickets. what it means is that you'd probably need to wait until tickets go on sale for general public. but definitely try the presales as well. hopefully, the amex presale should be fine for international ordering.

da, yes sometimes they will accept an International Amex card, *BUT* still require a USA postal address
In that instance using the Fiona's USA
NJ based mail forwarding service would be ideal
For anyone thinking of using Shopaholiques, here is a *link* for your reference, from the Australian
Vogue Magazine forum, wherein members have made comments about their experience(s) utilising this service.

yes, but there could be an issue with picking up tickets at the venue considering you'd have to present the credit card used and a photo id...

Yes, it appears it will be near on impossible for OS folks to purchase tickets unless they have a USA Credit Card.

I've tried to buy tickets but there's no International Will Call option available. I know there is an International option as it appears if you try to buy tickets for other concerts. Let's hope when the public sale opens the option will be there.
Fingers crossed

Hi
I'm in Ireland, and managed to get tickets for Quebec, but when I got greedy !! and tried Ottawa, the "will call "option was only available for Canada or the US.
Maybe us "foreigners" will get a chance when the open sale starts.!

Hi people
I'm in Western Australia and just managed to purchase two tickets to the Red Rock Concert it may have been easier as I was already a Ticketec member (i quite often buy tickets on-line), whatever the case, there were no problems, my Australian credit card went straight through and yes, it's International Will Call to pick up, easy.
Cheers

Hi Marcello
Yes I've booked tickets online for events in the US, and other countries previously without any problem,it just seems on this occasion "will call" was the only option available for Ottawa. Maybe this is a policy of Ticketmaster in Canada, as billetech caused me no problem for the Quebec event.

I should have said there that "will call" was only available for Canadian or US card holders.

What part of Mexico are you coming from, Marcello? How well known might you say Leonard is in your country/region/neighbourhood/friendship circles... whichever most applies?
Welcome

! I'm thrilled you'll be getting to see him!

Hi, all. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do at this point to increase my chance of getting some tickets to the Austin show when (or before) they go on sale at 10am on Friday. Thanks in advance.
