Audience Activity/Passivity this tour

Hi,

I've seen variants of this topic come up on a few show reviews this tour, and thought I would see if it could be focused in one place.

We can go round and round forever about people singing along/not singing along etc.

So what I wanted to ask here is simple :

- The impression I got from the non-UK/English part of the tour was that the audiences stood from the encores onwards. But certainly there was no sign of that happening at Cardiff/Bournemouth.

So I am wondering - was this ONLY the case over here, or were there some European audiences who stayed sitting for the whole show {not counting standing ovations of course} ?? Who was in the minority, in effect [if anybody was] ?

Thank you in advance !

What about this one http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QSn4MHjQ380

or perhaps http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7q4TRpVx6uM

Then there were standing ovations for" take this waltz" " Anthem" " Hey thats no way to say goodbye " "closing time" and these are the ones I recall.

[quote="roubiliac"]Manchester Opera House/quote]

I was there on the 20th June and nobody stayed seated from where I was sat. They did at the M.E.N. though! (well a lot more than they did at the Opera House) :D :shock:
