A plea to Leonard - the amazing sound crew

As one who quite liked the reverential and frequent name checks for the band members, I miss them slightly.
But their is DEFINITELY one missing. Last night the sound crew made that barn of a building in Cardiff sound like the Manchester Opera house had earlier in the summer, and this time we were right at the back. They are amazing, whoever they are, and please Leonard, give future audiences a chance to show their appreciation of these wonderful people who deliver your words to our ever grateful ears sooooo perfectly.
Does anyone else agree?

... I agree with you, Brokenhll -
Anyone who can make the 02 in London sound intimate deserves big thanks.
So big thanks from me too, to the amazing sound crew!

I'm 100% with you on this. The Auditorium in Glasgow may not be the most challenging venue for a sound crew, but the sound on 5 Nov was spectacularly good. Credit and many thank yous to those responsible.

I've just posted this on the Bournemouth thread, but for completeness it must be added here too.
"As it was me that started this thread asking for acknowledgment of the sound crew I was near tears when I heard the first two numbers (in Bournemouth) with several discordant aspects and imbalances. (I was up at the back in the wheelchair balcony)
The point is that the totally amazing sound crew tackled each one head on, by the third number it was near perfect and by the time we got to Anthem we had that wonderful "all joined up but you can hear every note" quality that I've been so in awe of in other venues.
And how good to have the power of this forum confirmed yet again when Leonard thanked the sound crew and all the other backroom folk. Thank you Leonard, it needed saying."
Elsewhere in that thread locals confirm what a difficult hall the BIC is. Not for these boys, Well done again!
