Bucharest, 21 September [CONFIRMED]

Romanian newspaper EVZ is running an article today regarding a Leonard Cohen concert on
21 September in Bucharest, Romania.
Link to article (in Romanian).
Here is a
Google Translation of the article.
They claim tickets will be available starting 17 July (that's two days from now!!!), with prices ranging from 79 RON (~22 EUR) to 349 RON (~95 EUR). How can they sell tickets to an unconfirmed concert?
Can anyone please confirm or deny this, or at least tell us if there are ongoing discussions, or if it's all a fairy tale?
Thank you!

Wow, that's excellent. The ton of details makes me think this has more weight than the previous attempt.
I think jarkko mentioned an update regarding the second leg of the tour around Thursday, so keep an eye on the forum (I know I will).

How nice for you to have him in Bucaresti on his birthday, when he turns 74.

After all the waiting and wondering about this concert... I was in Amsterdam last week when they started selling the tickets! Damn, I had some nervous 3 days! This time at least I'm lucky Cohen is not that succesful here. I got my ticket today, and it's a first row one, though a bit on the side... and I'm absolutely la-la-la! I don't have a job anymore, my faithfull 7-years old computer has finally decided to break down, and the woman in the airport customs thought I was pregnant (belgian chocolates, aaargh!)... but all those little details don't matter anymore, right now I'm happy!
Hmm, and shouldn't we give him a nice birthday celebration?

Looks like you got your wish, Laura!

hey, those Belgian chocolates were worth it, don't you think?
I wonder if he'll do something special in the Bucharest concert because it's his birthday... you lucky lucky people!

I wonder if there is any way that we could give Leonard a present for his birthday and wish him all the best, maybe jarkko can tell us more.

Don't know what belgian chocolates are worth, but certainly can't resist them!
Andrei, great idea, but I have no idea. First, could you please give a sign, anybody who is coming to this concert?

Do I detect a trace of envy in your voice, Dem? (be it for Cohen's succes, Cohen's birthday, or the belgian chocolates, I just can't decide). Otherwise I can't explain this sudden attack of bad manners and bad taste.

What bad manners?
What bad taste?
Can you see anything?
I can't.
And no.
I haven't deleted anything.
