Leonard says a couple of generations lost their virginity to 'Suzanne'. I don't doubt it. I would think a lot lost it to 'Je t'aime'. Personally, if your interested and I don't know why you should be, mine was lost to Nashville Skyline.

We - the younger generations - are lucky.

Leonard's songs these days tend to go for 7-9 minutes ;)

The only music to make love to is Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto. Not my virginity, but first time with the first woman I was in love with, a much more important moment... Brilliant.

With all due respect to LC and Suzanne, j'taime' is the most erotic throaty song. ever..Jane Birken looked the part and the sound does the trick! I I wonder if the new generation has any idea what "it used to be like" !!!

Don't worry about it...

I mean if God can create a child in the Womb of Virgin, He can certainly create a Virgin in the Mind of a Child.

He did here with two of us, my wife and I, one flesh.

Can anyone here say the same thing?

Leonard's acceptance speech at the Rock Hall of Fame Induction was marvelous, witty and touching.

But he neglected to credit his Source.

yes..I remember it as if it was yesterday
but it wasn't yesterday
it was an age ago
and the Dansette was singing
'Tonight will be fine'
and tonight wasn't fine
it was raining
and the first verse
passed me by
and the chorus
passed me by
and another verse
and chorus
and then the third verse
'Sometimes I see her undressing for me,
she's the soft naked lady that love meant her to be
and she's moving her body so brave and so free.
If I have got to remember that's a fine memory.'
yes
that's the time
the time
I remember
finding
my
virginity.

"I'd thought I would write reams
On the loss of my virginity,
But a madman just never dreams
Beyond his own insanity."
