I was just thinking 'what song would i want to hear' to make my Leonard experience complete. I know, he could recite the telephone directory and still have us in the palm of his hand But, truly, you must have all thought at least once over the past few months 'I realy hope he sings......'

For me? The first Leonard Cohen song I ever heard when I was 12 years old -jeez - was 'Famous Blue Raincoat' so that would do it for me.

ok my choice would have been lasagna or maybe a risotto, but cannelloni is not too bad. but no need to berate yourself for not thinking of them

Ok: I jest about the easy bit. Today I've been listening mainly to The Future and to Songs of Love and Hate (hence 1 and 2). Yesterday I was listening to Recent Songs and to Songs from a Room, so it would have been The Traitor and A Bunch of Lonesome Heroes.

Perhaps a more doable challenge is to list the one song from each album that you would most like to hear live in 2008...?

I'm pretty damn sure that I'll be going to the first concert, in Fredericton. Do people want me to post what he does sing? Or would you rather be surprised when you see the show?

I just posted my top choices. I'm down in my basement working on a Web site and listening to Galaxie. That's a music service on cable. I've got the Folk/Roots station on and they start playing Famous Blue Raincoat!!!!!!!!!!

It might feel freaky to technical guys, but there is no reason to freak out, it's just a simple synchronicity ,
happens when you are in tune with yourself and the universe,
I believe Jarkko described a similar experience with another Cohen song a couple of years ago.
