a Renault??? That's not cheap French rubbish you know... it's cheap Italian rubbish! a FIAT, no less...

admittedly not as stylish as a T-bird, but a lot cheaper to run and easier to park. If I had a big American car I wouldn't have room on my driveway for my Lancia(s) as well, and that would never do.

I'm not sure which would make a less conspicuous getaway car, a bright yellow Cinquecento or a silver-blue Thunderbird... Don't know which one of you would draw the short-straw and get to sit in the back either :?:

All profits from any 'candid' photography will be shared, nudge nudge, wink wink...

Tim, I'm so sorry for failing to recognise your highly attractive vehicle. But, "me I wanna go down, in a silver thunderbird". (Great song, but I digress.)

Failing that, is it a convertible Fiat? so that we can at least have our hair streaming in the wind, sunglasses on, etc...

Understood about the photos, wink wink.

Ali, I shall be away for a bit so I leave these arrangements in your good hands. I was thinking maybe we could just buy a bus and we'll all go on the run :D . I don't even mind if it's yellow. See you later.

Byron - I must have missed your comment about synthetic sugar shorts (Aliteration gone wild)

Ali - it only chafes when you think about it (and being a good catholic boyo I'm not allowed to think about it)

That's all for now folks a few nights in Sunny Sheffield so I won't visit again until the weekend

This is the first time I've trawled through this thread: I cannot believe the nonsense which passes for "messages".
To be honest, I've a good mind to get down to Bristolshire and give you all a lesson in ....how to get there from Edinburgh.
Two years ago, I crawled to Gloucester on a train and met a bunch of totally mental L.C. nutters.
And I mean the 24-carat variety.
Will I have to suffer this again?
If so, count me in.
It's getting late....I have packing tomorrow ,

Andrew.

 ~ Well, you know how all those planned activities get devoured by regular, ol' fashioned conversation, and you suddenly realize you still have some on the list you haven't gotten to, yet. At this point, I'm not sure if the ideas have ended up being added to the list, one after the other; or if one gets discarded, another added, another discarded, another added, etc. or what for sure. So, you may still be fine ~ however.......you know how those best laid plans of mice can go.

"OMG~! We're supposed to be at The Roloi in FIVE MINUTES!!!"

Now, I'm lost [or re-lost] ~ Is this happening at your community center or something, Ali? I was thinking a bar/restaurant deal.

At present Lizzy yes, but the list is growing so much that we may have to have the skittle alley at the local pub instead :D
