Hi,
mnkyface and B4real identified two songs that correctly answer the question. Only had "Night
Comes On" in mind when I posted this one. Thought that someone might think of "The Partisan"
as a possibility, as that song mentions graves and speaks of close relatives "lost." Lost, though,
doesn't necessarily mean deceased and buried.

Esther, If you want to I think it would be good if you take the next turn to post a question

Hi,
There's a song with a line that mentions two kinds of public transportation. The song is?

Hi,
Vocal modulation is an issue to a song character. You discover this in what song?

Hi,
Words of consequence to an intimate relationship are mentioned in what song? The relationship is interpersonal
and not that of a human to God.

Hey Mr Quiz-master
I’m not sure whether you are still talking about the same song or you have started another one so I’ll give you two separate scenarios.
I do like Rachel’s answer and here’s another answer relating to your first clue –
But frankly I don't like your tone ~ Different Sides
And from your second clue if we are still on the first song an extension of two more lines from above –
But frankly I don't like your tone
You want to change the way I make love
But I want to leave it alone ~ Different Sides
If it is an entirely different song maybe these songs and lines could apply –
You let me love you till I was a failure ~ Iodine
it was the shape of our love twisted me ~ Bird On The Wire (FCC & Cohen Live)
Free as you and me
The way it's got to be
The way it's got to be, lover ~ I Left A Woman Waiting
Alas, my love, you did me wrong,
to cast me out discourteously,
for I have loved you so long,
delighting in your very company.
Now if you intend to show me disdain,
don't you know it all the more enraptures me,
for even so I still remain your lover in captivity ~ Greensleeves
No doubt there are others

Hi B4real,
Thanks for the additional response. Enjoyed reading the lyric lines.
My last post was intended to open a new song hunt. Here's a hint: A song character
revealed something. This was followed by a big change.
