WOW! Outstanding photos. I was glad to see towards the end of the slide show that Eija was actually in some of the pictures. Everyone seems to be having a great time which is so nice considering the circumstances.

I was impressed with all the wonderful street sculptures and the various art galleries and museums. I loved the door handle molded like a man's tie at the haberdashery shop. Very clever. The fresh flowers in the market were a lovely touch to brighten up the scene. And of course, any sign with Leonard Cohen on it in any language, is always a treat.

The shots of the performers are so vivid. I can almost hear them singing.

Excellent job, Eija. Superb.

I was thinking of you often during the long weekend in Zagreb and now I am enjoying the pictures and music. It certainly appears that you were having a wonderful time (as often happens when Cohenists get together!).

Wybe & Eija, thank you for the wonderful pictures and slideshows.

Ken, who did your portrait in the museum?

I have Ibrica's album, Hazarder which I obtained from someone during the original meet-up on Hydra. I love that album.

Anne & I can hardly wait for the Krakow event so that we can see you all again.

i was the victim of a fiendish trick set up by henning and jarkko.....they had both arranged for jarkko to walk a few feet in front of me on our walk around the gallery and just as jarkko passed the painting in question he slyly dropped henning's copy of 'the best of bob dylan' cd (which he rarely leaves home without) at my feet and as i looked down henning who had placed himself carefully into position on the other side of the room snapped the photo.
....if i can borrow a ferret for the day i'm working on how i can do something similiar in krakow if i can get henning and jarkko to walk past leonardo da vinci's lady with an ermine in the czartoryskis museum ...any suggestions that include da vinci's lady with an ermine, a german, a finn and ferret would be greatly received.....ta ken

Looks like a great time was had by all again :) Really enjoyed the photos and videos. Especially The Partisan, which has been one of my fave songs live on the whole World Tour.

Did anyone manage to get a video of our troubadour Henning singing?

tinders...jura filmed the whole evening in full HD including henning's set.......so no doubt leonard's best new friend is in negotiations for an eventual public release...watch this space....if i get a copy i shall pass a copy on to you........maybe jura's camera even caught tom and 'the croatian norah jones' huddled together in the darkest corner of the club......although i'm hoping the pretty young girl next to me who sat leaning forward and staring in sheer admiration and completely mesmerised throughout the whole of henning's performance won't be on film........i think it was during a kite is a victim that she got particualry over excited and for one dreadful moment i thought she was going to jump up on the stage and give the old man a kiss....ta ken

thanks Ken for your kind words
this is even more comforting after we get only 3 stars on youtube for partisan and famous
although this is rating from unknown 2 persons ,but that's how it goes

and about Henning and Ibrica show
i have soundboard recording which is more superb from any hd sound which came from camera
also without noise ,as you can hear from this 3 videos for now
i will need some time to do it all ,this is very complicated for me doing synchronization
and it is definetely worth listening to soundboard specialy when acoustic guitar must ring and be in silent environment

and here it is for Henning ,
i like the way he sound on guitar and how some moments seem to be some unknown Cohen fingerpicking hommage songs and for me this kind of natural voice is what i like and admire ,if only i was familiar with the songs ,but what do i hear is a good mood
i do listen him on myspace and this is nothing compared to a good guitar through the best preamp avaliable and through my microphone (which one is off course the same one that Cohen use)
and all of this counts
so all of us 3 were in the same position ,although it happen that old wolf Ibrica eat us for breakfast
but the fact that he is mine and Marko idol for years and that he did perform 40 years ago ,somewhere around i was born, for Brel in Paris doing ne me quite pas on croatian and that Brel said that it was like he write this song for him
i think that thanks to Marko's invitation of Ibrica ,actualy he came to listen Marko because of his friends invitation and he even didnt know what program he will be listening to,and the old wolf couldnt say that we are bad ,and he was very nervous to enter the stage and show that he is better-this is what was going on offstage
and this i find as nothing else but compliment from him
and he plays on my guitar and mic,,wow
the only better situation that i can imagine it is that instead of him Len did it
that's all folks
sincerely

Hi Dino

I am glad to hear that you liked some of those golittlesongs. I don't sing very often in public so when I try new songs sometimes and they don't work on stage I unleash the command "stoplittlesong". Needless to say that I enjoyed the Tower Of Song performance very much and of course the surprise guest Ibrica Juric. Here is a photo taken with me and him.

Here it is Henning
like i said i like this rough natural sound

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-wzH3meq7k

this is what i have from another camera and soundboard
what means recording starts here
there is unknown out of synch first few moments
and then it goes ok
again sound quality on my computer is better
same as all my uploads during upload to youtube something is slightly happend during conversion of formats i guess
but this is still soundboard sound rather better than from camera directly ,and definetely without so much noise from public
i have a little bit more of soundboard but not more from this camera
for any reasons they start recording here at this point unfortunately
regards
Dino
