I have updated my list.
One question though: should I include the poem "The Flood" in the official setlist? And where was it recited then? (Bratislava, Budapest, Bucharest,...?)

Prague too.

Madrid, September 12:

First part:

Dance Me To The End Of Love
The Future
Ain't No Cure For Love
Bird On The Wire
Everybody Knows
In My Secret Life
Who By Fire
Lover Lover Lover
Waiting For The Miracle
The Flood (recited)
Anthem

Second part:

Tower Of Song
Suzanne
Sisters of Mercy
The Gypsy's Wife
The Partisan
Boogie Street
Hallelujah
I'm Your Man
Take This Waltz

Encores:

So Long, Marianne
First We Take Manhattan

Famous Blue Raincoat
If It Be Your Will
Chelsea Hotel

Closing Time
I Tried To Leave You
Whither Thou Goest

I think it was so, a great concert indeed, LC looked happy and everyone in the band was very professional and even enthusiastic. The concert took more than three hours finally

I have had the pleasure of watching him just in the centre of the first row with my wife, thanks to this forum, it was as if they were playing just for us as we had no eyes to watch the more than 10.000 people assisting. No one was between LC and our eyes, no more than 3 or 4 meters ahead, really wonderful :D , quite better than last year in Lisbon.

Amazing show in Madrid. Just one correction to elsita setlist. Chelsea Hotel was played after If It Be Your Will, when I was expecting to hear Closing Time. When he played in the first set "Lover, Lover, Lover" I felt a little dissapointed cause that was supposed to mean that no Chelsea Hotel would be played that night, but the appearence of the song almost in the end was the best gift I could receive from Mr. Cohen (in the third time I saw him in this 2008-2009 World Tour).

I Was in the second row thanks to this forum with my parents, my girlfriend and my brother. Really amazing night.

P.S.: The Flood was also recited before "Anthem".

Thanks for the corrections, it is easier this way :) I have inserted a blank line in the places I remember LC quitted the stage during the encores.

One detail, LC finished Famous Blue Raincoat with what seemed to be a good bye: "Sincerely, Leonard Cohen", fortunately it was not, but it was very nice to hear his name from his lips after hearing any other band members through the night.

I also have a video of that moment, as I was recording his performance of one of my LC favorite songs.

Hello,
Wonderful concert!

Just another two small corrections. As far as I remember, Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye, was not played this time. This was my third LC concert and I have to say it was the one I enjoyed the most, probably because of the centered second-row tickets I got on the forum's presale. Thanks for that !

Another little thing.. I've been noticing that everybody is refering to Palacio de Deportes as a 10000 capacity venue. In fact, it has a "variable configuracion" and can hold up to 15000 spectators. On this occasion , all areas were available and sold out.

Highlights of the night were for me Famous Blue Raincoat,Suzanne and Sisters of mercy. The audience was great. Mesmerized during the first set. Bird on a wire was magical and got everyone deep into the concert. The second set was even more intense. Both audience and band seemed to specially enjoy The Partisan. The crowd went mad on I'm your man and Closing Time. Then, beautiful silence came again for Famous Blue Raincoat. The band looked happy and received several ovations.

I think you are right hazey, I was thinking about it myself, but waiting for somebody to correct me. I will edit the post if nobody contradicts that.

I think I am wrong too with the pauses at the encores, I have just edited them right now.

As for the audience of the show, the Palacio is usually a multi sports space. When all the seats are used it holds 15.000 people, but the sits occupied by the stage were not available, although the chairs disposed at the playground where almost 2000, so 12.000 may be a better estimate for the real audience.

elsita,

You're right, 12000 might be a better estitate. I can confirm that in other concerts it is actually 15000, but this time no standing tickets were available for the playground which is usually much more crowded.

Concerning the encore pauses, I think your setlist is correct.

I've been reading some posts from Spanish forums and Granada´s setlist seems to be the same as Madrid's.

Song order on the second encore was : Famous Blue Raincoat, Chelsea Hotel, If it Be Your Will. I am now thinking this was the order in Madrid too.Can someone please confirm if I am right?

The Atarfe setlist was similar to Madrid but, just to be clear I'll list it here;

Dance Me to the End of Love
The Future
There Ain't No Cure for Love
Bird on the Wire
Everybody Knows
In My Secret Life
Who by Fire
Lover Lover Lover
Waiting for the Miracle
Anthem

Tower of Song
Suzanne
Sisters of Mercy
My Gypsy Wife
The Partisan
Boogie Street
Hallelujah
I'm Your Man
Take this Waltz

So Long Marianne
First We Take Manhattan

Famous Blue Raincoat
If it be your will
Closing Time

I tried to leave you
Wither Thou Goest

I'm pretty sure I've got this correct! He didn't recite The Flood or sing Chelsea Hotel. Maybe someone else can confirm this.

This is the correct setlist, and order and the correct breaks in the encores, and as somebody has said later, same setlist and order in Atarfe with the excepcion of NO Chelsea Hotel in that show.
