Tchoco, what is it now? If you don't want to respond to my posts, then don't. If you don't want to read them, don't. I don't know where we took this turn, but I remember when we could 'work things out'.

Whatever, Be happy,
Linda.

Blimey, what a lot of posts since I last checked in.

Tchoc, I am not sure how you intend the tone of your posts to be, so I will just let it go by...

Life stops being 'fun' when we stop playing, as Linda says. But, if my posts irritate, just scroll down, huh?

Paula, Hi! Perhaps John and yourself could compile a quiz together. Has anyone seen Paula and John in the same room at the same time :?:

Cheers Lizzy, and I'm so glad you decided to apply what you read in your friend's book  .

Linda ta for your thoughts and for the invite to your sandbox, I'll be callin round :D .

Sandra, Lizzy and everyone, I 'll let you know about the party. Linda, nobody's gonna be sick as a parrot on my carpet, cos I'm taking it up beforehand.

V. busy at mo, unfortuntely I won't have much time to be silly on the forum today, although I did, of course, just make time to read Mickey's sculpture thread.

See you later,

Diane

Tony

You asked about Bird Flu - it's probably a worry for most householders that you may be able to catch it (It has never been denied which is why it's a worry) from a Toilet Duck?
To err is human
To forgive is against government policy

JTS,

Do you mean those yellow rubber duckies? Well known to be very dangerous. Be careful, be sure to bathe it (the duck) often. Hmm. I wonder if I just 'stepped in it'?

Linda.

John,

I know that they have different traditions in Wales but I didn't know they kept ducks in the toilet. What happens when you pull the chain - or even before that?!?

The big "mystery" has to do with the gang[-up] mentality, when you already know you have a ready, willing, and sarcastic, hyperbolic partner for [yes, hypocritically] joining up in making the same, other person the brunt......even to the extent that you parrot/paraphrase his self-reference, "bad, hypocritical person [boy] that I am;" stating rather than questioning. Hilarity continues Rolling Eyes . Teenage years. That's where it comes from. Perhaps, that yellow car avatar says more about you than you ever intended. Mystery solved ~ you're welcome for the second half.

Obviously, you're also tone deaf.

Some lessons don't require beating about the head. Assault of the eyes and sensibilities is enough.
What's to be said will be said here, or nowhere at all; and the window of time here is limited, too.

Since one party has departed for the weekend ~ and who cares [did I say who cares? surely I meant who knows] where/when the other one will reappear. So, go for it with a clear screen. [Do you see me stepping aside? Or, should I use more of my gross motor skills?]
Am I the only one missing the point here? My best guess is as follows: Apparently, Lizzytysh, you regard me as a member of a Wens' (I know you didn't name him in either post I quote, but I can't think who else you mean) gang (or perhaps you see me as the gangleader?), and you think 'we' are bullying/teasing you/someone else/anyone else. Maybe that's true, but I don't think so.

If so, where did you pick up this idea from? was it something I said in the chatroom to wens when you weren't there? Because I don't think I spoke to him when you were there (if he was even there at the same time, which I doubt), and those would be the only publically-known exchanges between me and him. (and no, I wasn't consciously parroting his phrase - which i don't think was really that close to mine - in describing myself as a bad person) . And if that's what you are worrying about, and even if it's not, I'll apologise for it:

I apologise to Lizzytysh for anything I may have said about her in the chatroom when she wasn't there. I would also like to apologise (in no particular order) to Ann, Anne, Wens, Marianne, Marianne, Michael, Geoffrey, Kim, Jo, Cia, Tim, Henning, James and a few I'm sure I've forgotten, for having been rude to or about them in the chatroom at any time. If that's the problem, I will endeavour not to do it again.

Apart from that, I see quite a few personal insults in your posts, either addressed to me or my friend Wenslauw. I regret that you feel that way but wonder if it serves your cause best in using them.

PS to everyone: I know this post is in the wrong area of the forum (if it belongs in a forum at all) but I can't move the whole thread there and I don't want to start a new topic disassociated with this one. Apologies to all of you. I'll try not to post again unless I read something here that requires my response.

Tim ~

If you cannot follow my line of thinking in this which, as far as I'm concerned, didn't require any breaking down, I'm not breaking it down any further for you. Go your merry, thick way  .

A portion of what you've said, in this latest posting, is clearly not serious. If what you've said, in the rest of your 'confusion-based' postings, are wind-ups, you should be able to break through the atmosphere with ease and reach the moon soon after  .

well, I must be as thick as you've just called me as I still don't know what you mean. I'm not winding you or anyone else up in questioning this. Since the substance of your posts to me seems to be ad hominem attacks on myself, I cannot see any point in persisting with this forum. Have fun with it.

Surely there's more of interest to you here than productive discussion/conversation with me, Tim  . You had no problem recognizing the nature of your initial comments. Why now? Certainly, no ad hominem going on in yours, eh?

Tim,

Just to add fuel to the flames I get the impression that, no matter what you say, you will not be the one to have the last wordon this matter. I hope to be proved wrong in this assessment but somehow I feel that subsequent postings will prove me correct.

If not for themselves, then who? Not me or mine. Maybe you should ground them, or at least give them a curfew, then, if they keep acting out like that.
Acting out like what?

"Acting out like what?"
Saying things the speaker denies were intended.

"Yes dear, so?"
So as to say it's irrelevant.

I may need to refer you to my dear friend, John K. soon. I'm working on a solemn promise. I may be enjoying mushrooms in a meal soon; no need for one to be in a cloud, as well.

Is that a threat? If it is, I find it rather endearing.

Peanuts time everybody! Enjoy yourself! 8)

Linda and Diane. I don't understand why or how you could take offense of my little feelings and thoughts. The ape-thing, yes maybe. But not the rest.

The rest of you, Lz included. I don't have the patience of Lz to explain this and that in long posts (furthermore all is written and can be read at leasure over and over) first, and I don't have taste to have the last word at any price. Moreover I get tired very soon to play to Never-ending-battles-with-people who-likes-to-fight-so-much-that-they-will-be sorry-if-it-ends. With me, it is, you don't want to discuss? You just want to win? OK. You win. (shut up) (peace please) :D

I'm sorry if I can not give attention to everybody who is searching for it. Please just reread this post, and take it personally. Thanks. 8)

Consider it either. Consider it both. Consider it neither.

It is what it is ~ for it can be no other.
