I want to know who cast the one vote for the 1950s. Ultimate Buckskin Boys fan? :lol:

Ultimate Buckskin Boys fan?
That's hilarious - of course when I googled it took me to 1heckofaguy :D who of course had a picture of Mr.Cohen and his fellow buckskin band members.

I could see someone going for the 50's though ... he had it going on even then, even in his buckskin coat.
These Heroics (From Let us Compare Mythologies - published in 1956)

If I had a shining head
and people turned to stare at me
in the street cars;
and I could stretch my body
through the bright water
and keep abreast of fish and water snakes;
if I could ruin my feathers
in flight before the sun;
do you think that I would
remain in this room,
reciting poems to you,
and making outrageous dreams
with the smallest movements
of your mouth?

My favorite "Time Period" use to be the 90's. Thats when I first listened to Leonard in the album "The Future". Since then I have become a fan of his whole life and all his works.

But now my favorite time period is the past couple of years on tour. Leonard has always been good! It seems to me his whole life has been a life of growth that was put together into the Masterpiece of the past few years in bringing everything and everybody together in his tours.
