Now that's real help, thank you so much Roan. But i've come across a little problem. When I try to book seats ( i need 2) the website will only let me book one, there is no choice to click on the number of seats you need.
Anuone else find this? I don't really want to pay two credit card charges.

I did notice this although I havent booked yet. maybe hold off booking until this is clarified. An email to the organisers may be useful or maybe carlowmike could help out to get this sorted.

Thanks for this useful info, just a couple of questions:

1. is the price quoted a return fare, if not then it seems a tad expensive at €11
2. is this the only company providing shuttle bus service, looks like a private enterprise

I assume transport arrangements would be on the agenda for the meeting arranged for Tuesday to discuss all issues surrounding the concerts.

Just my thoughts.

In case you're still worrying about this important issue, I see the AEG site is giving show time as 7 pm. That must be where I saw 7, not on the POD site. But 8 has been given on THAT OTHER THREAD.... so who knows ?! The Willy Nelson concert in the O2 is less than a fortnight away, and its starting time is given as to be confirmed. Odd...You'd think one of the easiest things to organise and announce early would be starting time.

Bus Eireann (public company) tell me in response to an email that they will provide shuttle buses from Sligo to Lissadell "picking up at some of the hotels", and will have information on their website "in the next week or so". It will be interesting to see how theirs compare; it's early days yet in the shuttle bus story!
They will also provide coaches to Sligo and back "from the major cities".

I am pleased that other shuttle bus transport may be available as I now see that the site I reported was offering transport to the concerts is an independant company, I should have looked closer myself but this was a site that had been mentioned on the forum previously as a site to contact for more info!! it will be good to have a choice if other transport is on offer. It is early days to commit to anything and we are of the mind we will keep our options open in everything to do with our weekend in Silgo--only important thing is to get there and enjoy the MUSIC.
