Trying to remain calm about this, but that is the most positive statement I've heard from Jarkko in quite awhile! Nice hotels in the area too.

Oh I just happen to be free that weekend

I'd be on cloud nine if this is confirmed.

I'm tempted to book this place for accomodation just in case. It is straight across the road and at €38 a night is a steal. Plus they don't accept credit cards so no deposit required and could just cancel if the weekend doesn't go ahead. Would I be tempting faith if I did book though???

Recession or no recession if this goes ahead I will be there. I'll live on beans and toast from Lidl if necessary.

of course you are....i logged on to my usual on-line music sites on april 1st. and every one seemed to have an april fools joke except this site........so i felt obliged to rectify the situation.....but lo and behold straightaway i received two rather snotty pms from two of our well known self appointed arbiters of forum etiquette and taste ....if only they had bothered to take the time to enlarge the image they would have found further down the page the headline....

....so rather belatedly to those two ladies..APRIL FOOL..and to the rest of our irish friends i hope your wishes come true...unfortunately on that bank holiday weekend i'm in stratford-upon-avon for a bit of shakespeare otherwise i would of course be climbing aboard one of mr o'leary's planes to join you all in Contae Shligigh.....anyways i have front row seats for both of christy moore's concerts here in liverpool in october which more than compensates for missing lenny in ireland..... ......ta ken

A Newspaper headline with a photograph of Leonard that was posted by Ken and people weren't suspicious of this?

Hi Marsha,
Ken was just playing with us using his expert photoshop abilities...and, it WAS April 1st! BUT, the article (er, no photo etc..) is indeed real. We now need to simply be patient and wait another week or two to see the concert lineup. As silly as this may sound, I already have a hotel for the 4 nights in Sligo...to cover any possibility! I know, I know...sad. It's Leonard's fault
