Adam was talking about his posts "on this thread".This is my last post on this thread.
I am sure he will post many others on other threads on this "The Poetry Place", or at least I hope so as I get something from his perspective on life. A bit Bukowski-ish in its raw roar!!!.
Manna ; your "dream".
The "house" is you.
The characters are the archetypes roaming around your mind; the varying opinions you move through (work through) depending on who is winning the battle at any particular time. It's a great dream full of information about your complex character striving for individuation (Jungian term). Gradually you will allow each of these archetypal personas to have their say; and then move on from them. They are useful to observe, analyse and understand and to recognise as independent influences which erupt in given situations/circumstances. They can be useful allies or annoying disruptions.
The name of the game is to let them have their say and be a little compassionate with them. Eventually they will move into their bedrooms (so to speak), go off to sleep and allow your "house" to be at rest.
If you ignore them, they will keep re-invading until you give them the time they deserve. It is all very Jungian, in my opinion.
Also the "House" is spoken of in that classic poem I talk of often, "Dark Night of the Soul":
http://www.catholicfirst.com/thefaith/c ... RK%20NIGHT1. On a dark night, Kindled in love with yearnings- oh, happy chance!
I went forth without being observed, My house being now at rest.
2. In darkness and secure, By the secret ladder, disguised- oh, happy chance!
In darkness and in concealment, My house being now at rest.
3. In the happy night, In secret, when none saw me,
Nor I beheld aught, Without light or guide, save that which burned in my heart.
As I said, it's a great dream Manna and you are on a great journey to yourSelf according to Jung, Cruz and me too!
