My friend, Ron, gave me an article several years ago, titled "Embrace Your Eccentricity" ~ that along with an NPR segment on it even further ago ~ I'm not giving it up, no I'm not, no sir. Like I would've, could've, anyway

.
Your voice is welcome here, Diane

. If your party had been when
I turned 18, I'd have brought potato chips [you call them something else] and dip, but now you can count on me for guacamole and maybe some blue corn chips

. I'll be there for sure, though

. Thanks for the invitation.

Do your bingo halls provide you with your daubers? Or, do bring your own

Hi Lizzy,
Integration attempts amongst the birds. Geesh !
Well, it's colourful at least. Any attempt at integration is a step forward. Maybe he turned, but you weren't looking?
See you,
Linda.

Oh, no, Linda ~
I studied long and hard before I commented ~ on that you can hang your hat [if I only had an emoticon showing that]. That parakeet is taking a BIG risk, too, as a parrot

has already ~ somewhere along the line ~ contracted the bird flu

. Perhaps, an errant hussy of a parakeet

.
Later Linda

Anyway, I know what you mean because I felt the same when I entered forums in the beginning. But I get soon bore to the bones with this too light encounter of others. Poeple told me I'm too deep since I'm born, so I guess I will die like that. My problem.
I wouldn't say its a problem, Tchoco. It's no secret that you have an amazing intellect. However, most of us don't live our entire lives on line. Some come 'for the entertainment'. Nothing the matter with that, I don't think. We have so many mediums from which to choose. When I was a kid we had a b/w TV. That was it.
I can certainly understand you being bored with much of what goes on, but that doesn't mean that others can't enjoy it. It's not a reflection of their intellect or their aspirations. It's just passing time, for some. For others, they may have their reasons for coming, but don't feel like talking about it. As you've said, we're diverse people. Not perfect, but it would be boring to live in a cookie-cutter world. Paraphrase.
Regards,
Linda.

Ha! I guess you examined the birds closer than I did. I just thought them colourful.

It seems to me that you are doing a big transfer on the parrots, Lz.
Ln. No problem, dear. Answer to what Diane answered to my post. It is a public forum, here, not my private mail box. This is the beauty and the richness of the thing.
My comments where not judgmental as you seem to take it, you seemed to feel the need to excuse and justify you presence on line. If I would be so bored, I would not read and post, here, don't you think so? I think this is a great forum. I only expressed what I feel and experienced.
A drop of water in the ocean, I am, in my eyes, not more.
(OK my comments about our origines may seems a little... but the grand-mother of Darwin apparently told him "You may come from apes,
but not me. Eh!).
Ali. Thanks!
It is very easy. You pick up the codes up there (or either type them):
[img][/img]
And you put the address of an image on the net (I mean that is on line and not on your hard disk, otherwise, the image will not appear on the thread.)
Lz, what do you mean, chips of you time (sparkled with acid) are called another word now? Extasy?!!

Well, could be, Tchoc. Yet, it looks to me like the parakeet keeps trying to get up the nerve to peep to the parrot, and then loses nerve all over again. Endless attempts. Parrot won't even give poor parakeet a glance ~ just keeps doing his little dance. Poor parakeet

Wow. I hope it is not a
real transfer, dear.
What about this?

Hi Tchoco,

No, I didn't feel the need to excuse or justify my presence online, I only expressed what I feel and experienced, as you already mentioned above, re: your position.
I don't think you're bored with the forum, you've had some great discussions. I was just trying to re-iterate the fact that different people come here at different times, and often, for different reasons. All these differences can happen in one day, as you know. From thread to thread.
Cheers,
Linda.
