Saw this on ebay. Happier times, Joni in a friendly disposition to Leonard...

well, that was before she learned that he stole from Camus and Lorca, of course... this type of cowboy-with-a-guitar hug must have been often used by Lorca (also a guitarslinger)

Great pic! I like B&W photography. I think it would look very nice on my wall. 5GB isn't so much. Or is it? Or was that Euros? I'm reaching for my credit card ... nope, better not.

Yes, there's a lot of possible choices for that blank, isn't there? I wonder if there's one that rhymes with 'love' but befits our present world? A free nothing for the first person who can answer the quiz.

I couldn't help myself.

I just looked at that photograph again; can we be certain it is really is Leonard? It may be Kris Kristofferson pretending to be Leonand.

I thought the same thing. It could be Jarkko pretending to be Leonard. It's still a nice picture, besides, it probably is Leonard. I'm so jealous...I could ....

No, there are few pictures by same photographer in this series. They were taken in 1967, the year they were involved. I think it's from Newport Folk Festival or something like that, one of those numerous late 1960s festivals.

Yes, it says Joni Mitchell & Leonard Cohen at the bottom - I hadn't seen that the first time. She sure looks happy

- maybe she became unhappy with Leonard's extra curricular activities, her bitterness born out of some kind of jealousy? Boy, that's a real stretch - this picture is what?? 40 years old? Almost. Looks great though. Where are the others, Tom? Not that I'm asking you to post them all, but you said it's part of a series.

Fairly predictable, but hey

From the above viewpoint, the blank doesn't
have to be predictable.. there could be prizes! celebrities! it could be a contest! (or not)

I think there was at least one more picture, in close up (the girl on pic was wearing hat - I think that was Judy Collins, but photographed in same occassion).

Now, I have to wonder if it's Judy Collins on the cover of that single that's displayed somewhere. Can't remember the title - it had 'Dance' in the title. Leonard and a woman in a hat. I love these old photos. Then we see someone like Judy Collins on TV and she looks so much older (of course, because she is) but we tend to keep the images of the pics we've seen, in our heads. At least I do, then I'm surprised when I see that the person has aged just as I have.
Thanks,
Linda.

Linda, you mean this one:
I don't think it is Judy Collins!
