Given his age I consider every concert an incredibly precious gift. And yes, I do work hard to be able to pay for the tickets and travels but it's all well worth the effort.

Love and peace

There is still hope for more gigs in Europe? In Central Europe? Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary?? Pleaseeeeeee :!:

***I have said elsewhere that only a small part of the European leg has been announced -- there is a lot more under way as soon as the gigs get confirmed, including many countries in Eastern Europe. / Jarkko***

Complaining?

I am grateful to Jarkko for all that he does on this forum -thanks for answering my question-
To forum members who helped me or sold tickets to me at facevalue when I missed the presale.
And to LC, band and crew for making this possible.

I am only asking if they're playing in my country to know what to expect so that I can proceed accordingly.

As for ticket sellers, promoters..that's a different story and I think that at this point we all know how it goes.

I agree with hazey.

I don't think there is too much complaining or self-righteousness on this forum.

Some complaints are entirely valid. For example: 'The concerts should be announced all at one time!' and 'Prices are too high!'.

Other complaints (like 'Mr Cohen should play at my doorstep!' and 'Concert dates should fit with my holidays!'), if they are voiced at all, are clearly meant in jest.

I am being patient to see if any more concerts will be in the UK. But I hope the powers that be remember that the only concert we got last year was a mix up, changing the venue just 2 weeks before
it was due to be at The Hop Farm, meaning some of those people missed out after getting good tickets early resulted in having to take whatever they could.
Leonard's organisers, please remember that while you are booking places that had concerts last year and are having them again this year.

Patience is still needed, maybe even until early March, but hopefully not so long.

I did not mean to offend any forum member.
Sorry, if I did.
Just couldn“t stand all the moaning and claiming
while we are enjoying the unexpected gift of another live tour.

As for ticket prices I started a new thread not to overload this one here off topic.

That will give us time to reduce credit card bills and replenish our bank accounts !

Poor Leonard, I know he would love to perform in every country in our Universe but that is not possible. We should be all thankful that he can still do so much. God bless him and give him strength.

Not totally - there will be some great member activities in Ireland. Joe Costello will soon announce the Leonard Cohen Walking Weekend in Galway at the end of September, and our next big Event will be in Cork in Summer 2014.

Does seem a little odd that no more Euro dates have been booked for a while.

Many European concerts will be announced at the end of February (or possibly early March), but there might be some announcements also before that. The timing will be up to the local promoters.
