Ooh, dear! T'would appear all have left. I knew I shouldn't have ordered that bottle of Tequila. Had the most frightful dreams...multi-legged surfboard, the world's biggest meatball w/cheese, sausage w/lettuce. That can't be right. Bloody Mary, please. A double if it's no trouble.

linda, our own freshwater mermaid, no-one has left, we're still here, enjoying the breeze, counting gulls, herding cats, knitting fog, waiting for the call of the muse, pregnant with expectation, watching Brando in a documentary, daydreaming of Hydra, plumbing the depths of our individual souls, thinking of you, hiding from ourselves, losing time remembering The Last Tango, unable to waltz as we once could, taking the pills, flushing the toilets, feeding the cat, praying for dreams, and tomorrow............
Sip it slowly, let it drizzle down, go with the flow and the bitter-sweet pain, learn the routines to be content. Sleep with your eyes open and feel the colours.
Time for my nightmares again. Damn things won't leave me alone. Brando was good wasn't he? Lizzie, our cat sleeps 20 hours a day, clever girl. That takes skill.............

Brando was indeed good. Too bad he ate and drank too much. My New Year's resolution is to learn the routines to be content and to feel the colours. However, I will continue to sleep with my eyes closed (I'm trying for 20 hours). Don't plumb the depths too deeply.
Cheers,

Hope This Helpslinda_lakeside wrote:Oh. Hullo. Byron of Jerico, if HTH has anything to do with Her Titular Head, I don't want to know about it. VHS? Bummer. Garcon! (lost the little squiggly under the sea). 'nother double. With a twist.

I shan't be so bold as to petition on my behalf. I will leave the decision in the capable hands of the poetburo. I can only hope I have better luck being classified by the poetburo than I did by the Politburo.
Regards,
Miss Lakeside

today's sitting of the poetburo was unable to reach a decision on the application of Miss Lovelace. We have however decided to grant her an oral hearing. If we can't decide after that we will ask her to come again,

Unfortunately, Miss Lovelace has been called away for an emergency smut summit and it is unlikely that she will be returning willingly.
Miss Lakeside, however, would be pleased to attend in her stead, if protocol allows.
