Eva,
You said that Japan is an 'opportunity', so I am happy for you. As Anne said so succinctly 'we will miss you'. I'm sure there will be other opportunities - more Hyra, other events...and who knows, LC has not touched Japan yet.
Warmest regards,
Mary

Thanks, Mary. It's indeed a great opportunity for me and I'm grateful and happy to have it. I still will miss you all badly. But this summer and autumn was wonderful beyond description so I will cherish the memory and secretly hope for that Japan tour to happen

Love,
Eva

I hope to join you on Hydra this time. It has been my dream to see the island. Do you know if there will be Leonard's concerts over the same weekend, and where? It would be a pity if I missed a concert somewhere near me. I didn't buy tickets to Lucca, because my work takes me to U.S.A in July, but need to see him again in 2013!
pietro.

Pietro, you're very welcome to join us! I am sure you will fall in love with the island!
To our best knowledge there will be no concerts during the Hydra weekend.
According to current plans, the concert in Paris on June 18 will be the first of this summer leg.

Hi All who will be on Hydra in June:
I sent yesterday a circular by email to all who are listed for this happening.
If you did not get the email, check your spam folder, or email me directly at ja@nebula.fi
We need to know whether or not you'd be interested in the Epidaurus/Nafplion day trip either on Thursday or Friday.
(Update: looks like we will be doing it on Friday - so many of you seem to arrive on Thursday!)
There is still room for more members!

Hi Jarkko
I have booked our flights today. We will arrive on Wednesday June 5. Can you tell us more about the day trip ? How many hours will it take and how much does it cost approx. ?
Henning

To get an offer from the local organizer, we need to know how many would be interested. After my email circular we have already about 50 preliminary reservations.
The trip will take place on Friday, June 7.
Next we will need to get the price and other details. I think it will be a full day excursion by boat and bus.
We will collect binding reservations after we've got the price & other important info.

That sounds great. I am sick of this winter now. Does the other important info also include the exact time when Leonard will perform in the antic theatre ?

***Looking forward to a concert at a Roman-time amphitheatre this summer but suspect it won't be this one - and also the date seems to be wrong.
So be sure to take your own guitar with you to Epidaurus! / Jarkko***

jarkko i'm surprised at you for suggesting that we break union rules by encouraging a non-greek to perform on a public stage in greece without permission from the greek musician's union...while i'm sure it's OK for henning to 'entertain' (his word not mine) us informally at the roloi each evening but for him to perform in the epidaurus arena without a permit from the union would be completely illegal especially when you think of all the local greek musicians who are struggling in these hard times to find work....i'm afraid i would have to think of organising a picket line if this idea goes ahead and while i'm at it i may also set up a picket at the roloi....once the locals find out about the germans coming over and stealing their jobs we may have to find another island for our next meet up...up da workers.. ta ken
